MEET OLIVIA
Olivia Reese is a trainer out of Powder Springs, GA. Growing up in Ohio, she worked her teenage years with USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medalist Francesca Nicoletti, developing feel and learning all of the movements through the Grand Prix. In 2011 she began working with Pan American Games Gold Medalist Kate Poulin. Under Kate’s incredible eye her riding improved immensely and Olivia was able to accompany Kate down to Florida to train with Olympian Michael Poulin and his wife, Sharon.
Since working in Florida, Olivia continually works to improve her education by participating in numerous clinics and lessons. She has worked under those such as Anne Gribbons, Charlotte Bredahl Baker, Conrad Schumacher, Paul Belasik, Lars Peterson, Karen Lipp, Kim Sosobee and Michael Poulin. She is a firm believer in continuing her own education and takes weekly lessons herself.
Olivia is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist as well as a Bronze Medalist with Distinction, earning her scores on horses that she trained herself. She specializes in working with adult amateurs, creating correct basics and happy horses. Her classical background approaches riding with a “horse first” mentality that really promotes a partnership with the horse, making riding easier and more enjoyable.
Olivia has helped multiple students achieve their USDF medals, as well as qualifying and placing at the USDF Regional Championships!
